For more than 18 years, the Somalia has been married in chaos. when warlords overthrew dictator Mohamed Siad Barre and sparked brutal clan infighting. Somalia Transition Government and United Islamic Court.The conflict displaced hundred of thousand Somalis. The situation has been exacerbated by Somalia Transitional Government with the help of Ethiopian forces and United Islamic Court.
The Somali Democratic Party has represented the interests of Somali families, fighting for equal opportunities and justice for all Somali.
Today, Democrats continue that fight with a firm commitment to the values that we all share as Somali: secure the nation, end the civil war, and restore our moral standing in the world; and for all; making new Constitution and protect the civil rights and liberties of all Somali.
